Emmi Patient Safety Program

The Virginia Heart and Vascular Institute (VHVI) and Mary Washington Hospital are committed to patient safety. Patient Safety is a team effort involving not only your doctor, nurses and other healthcare professionals but yourself as well. When everyone works together the patient ultimately benefits. The following programs are designed to better educate our patients on the issues surrounding patient safety. These programs where developed by Emmi and the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. We strongly encourage you to take 5 minutes and view this information. You can't be a team player if you don't know whats at stake in the game.

What is EmmiSafety?
